What’s more American than baseball and beer! What’s more L.A. than asking the attendant, "where are the Vegan nachos located?" After they look at you crazy and ask you to repeat it because what they thought you were gong to ask is where the bathroom is located, they will most likely say on the first floor and let you walk on down! Now, being like most commoners up on the Lodge level I was eager to see what was on the magical field level section. After walking what seemed like a never ending hallway and stairwell down to the first floor (we could have take the elevator but considering we were about to indulge in an abundance of vegan nanchos we thought the steps would help!) we were upon the first floor (AKA Field Level - cue music).
Before the conquest of the nachos we walked around a bit to see what was down there! Tried not to look like tourists on the first floor of Dodgers stadium after doing numerous loud OHHHSSS and AHHHSSS and taking a few pictures. We stopped by the marketplace which has fruit and other pre-made times, walked past the fish tacos and dipping dots which seemed to be popular and saw the long line at the elote man (per usual) and saw an abundance of a California favorite Carne Asada fries and ended up at Field Level section 22, The Elysian Park Grill. Semi-line but considering we were there at the bottom of the 7th everyone was pretty much back at their seats and I'm sure I was the only one on a scavenger hunt for the vegan nachos (there are also VEGAN cookies on Field level 5). I also found out that their hotdogs are now vegan as well as their hot dog buns (GO DODGERS!). We asked the helpful cashier two vegan nachos please, as she reassured our order we paid and had to step aside while they were being made. I actually kinda enjoyed that because then I knew there were going to be fresh and not all icky and soggy. DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately all my pictures got erased from my Canon so I don't quite remember how much they were on the top of my head but bear with me with these iPhone pictures (below).

We finally go our nachos and we were very pleased with the result. After trying not to attack the lady who brought us our nachos like we haven't eaten in centuries we calmly walked to a standing table, took some pictures and went HAM on those nachos! Vegan cheese, tomatillo sauce, jalepenos (we asked for extra jalepenos which is why it looks like a massive amount) and some good ole fashioned pico de gallo! This is for sure a staple at Dodgers Stadium not to miss, so take that walk to Field Level section 22 and get your snack on!
